Until then I am keeping my fingers crossed

My last blog is from back in February. Well somethings have happened since then, but not many. I completed student teaching, and it was FANTASTIC. It's amazing to realize that this is what I want to do with my life. And that is easier said than done. I have been going on many interviews with no success. It is difficult and heartbreaking. I am trying to keep my head up, and stay positive. This week I had two rejections, and it's okay. The one job I didn't really want. I am trying to keep my hopes realistic for a teaching job in Southern Indiana, but they have called my references. So small yay!
Obviously the big news of my summer is that I graduated. The day of I was so excited, and really proud of myself. I worked really hard at bringing up my GPA to a 3.02, and I have 9 graduate credits (the lowest grade of those being a B!) But with the suckiness that has been this summer it just isn't enough.
I got a part time job, which I loathe, but I am grateful to have a job. It is nice to have some money coming in, since I am living at home I have no extra living expenses. It is weird "living at home." I put that in quotes because the majority of my things are in boxes, and I am staying the guest room. The only way one could identify me living here is the state of the room which is littered with my dirty laundry.
I after I left my interview at Jeffersonville I felt that I could actually live there. It is a could size city, that is a suburb of Lousiville. It is about 2 hours from Indy with an awesome outlet mall about half way between the two! I like that it is located in a place that will give me options of things to do. I loved living up at Purdue, but there wasn't much to go do in town.
My obsession with TV shows is growing. Last summer I started watching "The Cleaner" A&E. It started again this summer, and it has been amazing. One other perk to living at home is that I have a DVR in my bedroom. If you are able to get AT&T U-Verse do it! Right now we have Showtime free for a month. I love show time because it has Dexter, and they started a new show "Nurse Jackie." I LOVE medical shows. I don't know what I would watch without medical shows and cop shows.
Recently my love of TV shows has shadowed my love of movies. Next on my Netflix queue I am getting "Numbers." Also if you are an avid movie/tv show viewer like myself (and my bff, megan, yes I just said bff) get Netflix.
Megan and I have decided to write a play. I'm sure it won't happen because neither of us have any follow through on our great plans. I mean I started this blog a year ago, and I can even muster up the energy to write it....
