"We have to love until it hurts. It is not enough to say, I love." We must put that love into a living action, and how do we do that? By giving until it hurts." Mother Teresa

just waiting

So I have not blogged since july, and while things have happened nothing too exciting.  If you are related to me and got a christmas card, my very tiny paragraph stands as proof that I haven't been up to much.  I still have two weeks until i start officially start student teaching, and I am really ready to stop sitting around doing busy work.  I have two classes I am stuck attending, and well I pretty much hate attending.

I am placed at a local middle school in the 8th grade.  Many look at with a sad face, but I have been in the classroom observing-and I think it is going to be a great semester.  It will be a lot of work, and I know there will be good and bad days, but if I wanted an easy job I would have majored in something that's easy.  Tomorrow night I am chaperoning my first middle school dance!  I know some of you may grimace...but I love awkward  moments and the only people that are more awkward than I am are those middle schoolers.  Plus there is going to be pizza so I'm there.

One of my roommates just made something with garlic and it smells super good.....

Today in class my professor changed a due date of our "big" project and then moved the date 0f the reflective essay (I am so sick of reflecting).  These things really annoy me, mostly because now I am going to procrastinate even longer.  I know that I could work on the project earlier so it was completed on the original due date, but that's not how I work.

Okay I have an obsession with TV.  And I have figured out the cause of this obsession/addiction, I just do not want to read any more.  I still love reading, it is just that I am tired of reading.  It is all I have done for the past 3 years.  Reading for classes, and writing papers really makes reading not as much fun.  Over Christmas break I only read one book, and it took me three weeks.  I brought 5 or 6 books home all of which I intended to read, but the thought of reading anything even for fun currently bores me.  I am a little sad that I am not devoting time to reading for pleasure.

My "stories" on TV include:
"House":  because it is awesome however this past Monday's 100th episode that they made sound like it was going to be totally awesome was a little weak.
"Big Bang Theory" and "How I Met Your Mother": they are just hysterical hands down.
"The Biggest Loser": It's the only reality show I watch, and my roommates and I just love it .
"Law & Order: SVU": Now in it's 10th season it is still suspenseful.  And I am still waiting for Stabler to go completely crazy and kill someone.
"Bones": Um science geeks, and law I LOVE IT!! (The books that are the inspiration for the show aren't half bad either)
"Burn Notice": An ex-spy helping people, plus giving tips to the view on how to be a spy....awesome!!
"Psych": I just love my cop shows even though they are fake cops and it is funny to watch. And I love Dule Hill.

Seeing as my last post was in July, I am going to try to be more consistent.  Hopefully once I start student teaching I will actually have things to write about.
